Cost and Timeframe

There is normally a fee of £40 charged for a basic enquiry although the final fee is dependent on the amount of information that is found. This fee is only payable if our research proves successful.

No money should be paid in advance.

Please be aware that our family history/military research service is staffed only by volunteers on a part time basis.  Normally, it can often take 10 to 12 weeks for an enquiry to be processed.  

Please note, we do not have a facility for visitors to browse our archives, or a research library. We do not hold the service records of individual soldiers.
